- A Travel Writer of International Bestseller, 'Longue Marche'
He walked 12,000Km for 4 years from Paris to Compostelle and from Istanbul to Xian after he has retired at the age of 60 years. He learned how to rid himself of greed slowly through sharing a friendship with people who even don't speak same language. With the royalty of his bestseller, 'Longue Marche', he established Association Seuil. Since then, he has assisted juveniles delinquent and the retired elderly in need through trekking. He believes that they need to be rehabilitated and not alienated from the society.
In that lecture, he delivered us his personal experience that overcame depression with trekking. Also, he shared us young people¡¯s story who have started to find the worth of life and to respect others through trekking.
